Never Say Die

Emerging from Toronto in 2013, the punishing and melody-driven post-grunge/electronicore group Never Say Die originated with ex-members of the Canadian hard rock ensemble My Darkest Days. Following the hiatus of MDD, during which vocalist Matt Walst took the frontman role for Three Days Grace, Reid Henry and Brendan McMillan proceeded to establish their new venture under the Never Say Die name. Producer Mike Langford, who also serves as drummer for Age of Days, encountered the duo's demos in 2016 and enlisted tourmate Dane Harsell to assist Henry and McMillan in developing the material. Initially conceived as an EP, the project expanded into a full LP, leading to the release of their debut single "Automatic" toward the end of 2016. January 2017 saw the arrival of Destroy + Rebuild, marking the band's first complete album. By 2018, the group had adopted the new moniker Deadset Society.
