Biography
Next Stop: Horizon came into being as a theatrical indie rock act when Pär Hagström and Jenny Roos assembled the project in their native Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2010. Drawing on a wide spectrum of sources that ranged from gospel and cabaret to Eastern European folk music, the group moved rapidly to finish its first album, We Know Exactly Where We Are Going, which Tapete Records put out in 2011. Throughout much of the following period the duo maintained a busy international itinerary that took in large stretches of Europe along with prominent cities across the United States. Their next album, The Harbour, My Home, surfaced in 2014 after being captured at the rehearsal space studio in precisely the same fashion as the debut.
