Biography
Ninos De La Tierra formed in Los Angeles during 2015 as a metalcore quartet drawing its personnel from the rosters of It's Casual, Bloodcum, Antagonist, and Zombie Eating Horse. The lineup centers on vocalist Eddie Solis, lead guitarist George Hierro, bassist Tom Rojanapanya, and drummer Orlando Anthony Garcia.
Solis, previously active in It’s Casual and Revolution Mother, had already established himself across multiple roles in the music business including publicist, manager, label owner, and A&R executive, while also serving as a chronicler of the Los Angeles music community from the early 1980s onward. Hierro, the former Bloodcum guitarist absent from recordings since the late 1980s, contacted Solis with a collection of new material and expressed a desire to produce work containing “more chaos” than any existing release. After reviewing the tracks, Solis responded enthusiastically and agreed to participate, bringing Rojanapanya and Garcia into the project.
Following several months of rehearsals, the group entered the studio in autumn 2015, with Solis handling production duties and Paul Miner—known for his work with Atreyu, Thrice, and New Found Glory—serving as tracking and mixing engineer. Los Angeles Records LLC released the resulting self-titled debut album in January of the next year.
