Biography
Nick Rudd, the indie pop singer and songwriter, made his initial appearance leading the group Turning Curious, which later became known as the B-Lovers, when he fronted their 1983 debut Soul Light Season produced by Mitch Easter. He next spent time in Big Maybe alongside Ric Menck and Paul Chastain, who would later join Velvet Crush, and then moved to the Parasol label for solo work that included the singles "One in a Million" and "Gold." The 1993 album Forever, issued under his Blown alias, marked Parasol’s very first full-length release. After keeping a low profile for several years and playing in Weird Summer, Lonely Trailer, and Angie Heaton’s Gentle Tamers, he returned in 1999 with the solo album One Track Mind.
