Biography
Hailing from Braintree, Massachusetts, where his birth occurred in 1988, the indie-steeped country-pop vocalist Nick Santino first attracted notice in the mid-2000s while serving as lead singer of A Rocket to the Moon, a collective steeped in emo textures and devoted to reviving late-nineties alt-rock and punk-pop sounds. Across its existence the outfit delivered five EPs plus two positively received full-length albums before parting company on amicable terms in 2013, coinciding with the appearance of Wild & Free; that same year Santino unveiled his initial solo EP, Coming Home, which blended rustic textures with an energetic tone.
