Biography
Nikolo Kotzev entered the world in Bulgaria yet has called Finland home since 1989. An accomplished guitarist and violinist, he spent years contributing as a session player across various projects. One such endeavor was the rock duo Baltimoore, which paired him exclusively with vocalist Bjorn Lodin and yielded the 1992 album Double Density followed by Thoughts for Food the next year. Adopting the Brazen Abbot name, he issued Live and Learn in 1995, then continued the series with Eye of the Storm in 1996 and Bad Religion in 1997. In 1998 he began developing his largest undertaking to date, the double-disc rock opera Nostradamus, which finally appeared in 2001.
