Biography
Drawing from Seattle's grunge textures, Berlin's electroclash energy, and New York's punk edge, No Band for Lluvia formed as a Spanish alternative rock group led by versatile performer Lluvia Rojo. The Madrid-born actress, widely recognized for portraying a key character across many seasons of the contemporary period drama Cuentame Como Paso, assembled the lineup in 2010 alongside ex-Sunday Drivers guitarist Lyndon Parish, Iconoclast bassist Kevin Kajetzke, keyboardist Dario Lofish—who was subsequently succeeded by Zoe de Kerangat—and drummer Pascu Monge. Following their deal with Subterfuge Records, the ensemble established itself as a mainstay across Spain's independent music venues before issuing its well-received first full-length record, Dead End, in 2011.
