Biography
Emerging from London, the quartet No Guidnce crafts a blend of soulful pop and R&B rooted in harmonious vocals, drawing from the classic '90s style exemplified by Boyz II Men and infusing elements from modern acts such as Drake. Initially building their following through social media cover performances, the group launched their career in 2023 via the EPs Is It a Crime? and Spicy.
The four members—Zeekay, Josh, Ebubé, and Kaci—formed No Guidnce in the London area circa 2021. Zeekay and Kaci had previously appeared as contestants on the reality program The Search, which was hosted by Little Mix. Inspired by that participation to broaden their musical vision, they connected with Josh and Ebubé through online platforms. United by a passion for R&B and hip-hop from the '90s and early 2000s, the collective started creating and sharing renditions of songs by artists including Usher, Ne-Yo, and Drake. These clips achieved widespread popularity online, attracting professional interest that led to a recording session in Los Angeles alongside songwriter Victoria Monet. Their first extended play, Is It a Crime?, arrived in 2023 and included the tracks "Lie to Me" and "Committed," followed later that year by the Spicy EP.
