New Jersey's No Hollywood Ending introduced punk listeners to their throat-shredding blend of metal and hardcore, complete with sporadic melodic choruses that occasionally echoed Avenged Sevenfold, when the band issued its debut full-length, It's All a Nightmare, in 2004. Following that release, membership underwent a total reset aside from Frank Osler on lead vocals and CLC on guitar and vocals. The refreshed roster eventually incorporated Ryan Lesinski on guitar and vocals along with Steve Gotthelf on drums; by April 2007 the lineup reached completion when Kyle Mohr, previously of the local outfit Gray Lines of Perfection, joined on synth and vocals while Joe Beninato took over bass. No Hollywood Ending delivered its second album, Everybody's Talking, in July 2007 via No Milk Records/Merovingian Music.
