Biography
North Elementary, a quartet from Chapel Hill, deliver eclectic alternative and indie pop-rock in keeping with the path their hometown helped define by the close of the twentieth century. Most of the material on the band’s 2002 debut album, the CD Out of Phase, was written by John Harrison, previously a member of the Comas. Margaret White, another former Coma who joined Sparklehorse around the same period, rounds out the current lineup.
