Biography
Northern Light Orchestra brings together singers and players drawn from an assortment of pop, hard rock, and heavy metal bands, among them Winger, Survivor, Slaughter, Whitesnake, Kansas, Kiss, Alice Cooper, and Grand Funk Railroad. Its holiday presentations mirror the ornate, laser-enhanced spectacle associated with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, resulting first in the 2009 album The Spirit of Christmas. Celebrate Christmas appeared the next year, Night Before Christmas followed in 2012, and Star of the East surfaced in 2017 on EMP, the label operated by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.
