Biography
In 1993 Alex Novak and Simon Coleby stepped aside from their main outfit Venus Fly Trap to develop songs unsuited to their gothic alter ego. Equipped with assorted instruments, the duo recorded under the Nova State Conspiracy name, shaping an electronic noise of their own. Their ambient abrasives reflected the influence of Front Line Assembly, Nitzer Ebb, and Depeche Mode, prompting Aggressive Records to issue the debut EP Zeitgeist later that year.
