Biography
N.R.T., once called No Right Turn, functioned as a diligent folk group based in Derby, England, and maintained a strong catalog of sharp-edged roots rock. Jayne Marsden’s singular vocal delivery formed the core of their approach and appeared to strong effect across several brisk recordings that advanced past the band’s earlier folk leanings. In the early 90s they counted among the strongest unsigned acts working the UK club circuit.
Marsden later founded Jaynes Red House and the trio Marsden Blant And Squire, which included Dave Blant of R. Cajun And The Zydeco Brothers along with John Squire.
