Biography
Nyami Nyami Sounds originated in the northern Zimbabwean town of Kariba as a youthful ensemble known as the Angoni Family. Their initial sets centered on rumba covers scored for a six-piece guitar lineup, though traditional influences had already started surfacing in their material by the 1984 arrival of their debut album.
