Oag

OAG, also known as Old Automatic Garbage, formed as a Malaysian rock outfit whose reputation rests on the power of its live performances and stands among the rare indie rock acts from the country to reach genuine commercial traction. Positive Tone added the group to its roster in 1995, after which the band issued its first full-length effort, O@G, the following year. Across the subsequent decade the musicians put out seven additional releases that encompassed two EPs plus one compilation set. OrAnG, the later of those EPs, arrived in 2006 and contained several tracks subsequently licensed for television programs and commercials. OAG captured the top prize at the IKON Malaysia band competition in 2007.
