OG 3Three

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1998, Louisiana rapper OG 3Three—also recognized as NBA 3Three—initially stayed away from the microphone while his younger brother Youngboy Never Broke Again rose quickly through the ranks. Together the siblings launched the Never Broke Again collective near the close of high school, building it around the younger artist’s mounting profile, and OG 3Three chose to handle management and administrative duties rather than perform. Around 2016 he stepped forward as a solo act, first appearing on a verse for Youngboy Never Broke Again’s “Down Chick,” then issuing additional collaborative cuts. The sinister, booming single “Murda,” released in 2017, drew widespread notice and was followed that same year by the mixtape 3 Point Line; two further projects, Chapter 20 and 2018’s All Eyez on 3, arrived in 2019. Subsequent years found him concentrating on standalone tracks such as “Bout Whatever,” “Walk Down,” and “Whoa,” which gradually shifted him from behind-the-scenes operator to recognized artist in his own right.
