Since signing with Quality Control Music in 2014, the Atlanta producer OG Parker has fused smooth, melodic R&B textures with intricate trap rhythms to craft his own sleek, radio-ready beats. His résumé features work for leading figures across rap and R&B, among them Migos, Chris Brown, and Torey Lanez, while a 2021 partnership with Michigan rapper DDG yielded the mixtape Die 4 Respect. In addition to issuing his own solo material and assorted joint tracks, Parker joined Vedo for the 2022 project While You Wait.

Born Joshua Isiah Parker in 1993, the future beatmaker had already mastered several instruments before turning ten. Following college he moved to Atlanta, where he quickly aligned with Quality Control Music. Early credits included productions for YFN Lucci and K Camp; momentum soon carried him to chart-topping singles by Migos, Torey Lanez, and Partynextdoor. Further sessions expanded his client list to encompass many of the genre’s biggest names, and beyond individual cuts he issued collaborative tapes such as the 2019 Ultraviolet alongside producer Chrishan and the DDG-led Die 4 Respect in 2021. During that same year he supplied the beat for Megan Thee Stallion’s “Thot Shit,” which climbed into the Billboard Top 20. Parker kept issuing his own records, enlisting PnB Rock and Latto for the 2021 single “Rain Down,” reuniting with Vedo on While You Wait the following year (adding Baby Tate and Dusty Locane as guests), and unveiling the 2023 track “Still Work” featuring Muni Long and Ty Dolla $ign.
