Biography
An invitation from a European record shop for Appleseed Cast to deliver an acoustic in-store set led frontman Christopher Crisci to create a batch of original songs tailored to the event. Those pieces supplied the core for Old Canes, the lo-fi project Crisci guided and realized through an informal circle of supporting musicians. Early Morning Hymns arrived as the band's first album in 2004; afterward Crisci finished Peregrine with Appleseed Cast in 2006 and Sagarmatha in 2009, then completed Old Canes' second album, Feral Harmonic.
