Biography
Formed in New York City, Olive Grain pairs Craig Colorusso with Bonnie Jean Wisnowski. Primitive elements such as chanting and percussion merge with multimedia visuals during their performances, yielding a live presentation that resonates on both musical and visual levels. The duo moves between ethereal soundscapes in the manner of Brian Eno and dense layers of cacophony, with the intent of generating sounds and music suited to an alternate listening environment. Southern Records issued the self-titled debut album in August 2001.
