Biography
In 1992 the Mourao brothers Juliano, Dinho, and Alexandre launched the Brazilian reggae-pop foursome Omeriah, which soon expanded when keyboardist Fernando Delaretti came aboard. Plug-BMG/Ariola issued the group’s self-titled debut album in 1995, spotlighting the hit single “Dois Neguinhos” together with a version of Djavan’s “Sina.” DJ Sound magazine named Omeriah the year’s revelation band in the reggae category. Mundial People appeared three years later.
