Biography
Hailing from Boston, the five-piece On Broken Wings draws its primary sound from post-emo metalcore bands such as Every Time I Die, Glassjaw, and local stalwarts Converge while occasionally weaving in sharper grindcore textures. The group assembled in the opening months of 2001 and put out two full-lengths on Eulogy Recordings—Some of Us May Never See the World in 2003 and It’s All a Long Goodbye in 2005—featuring vocalist Jonathan Blake, guitarists Mike McMillen and Burke Medeiros, bassist Jerome McBride, and drummer Kevin Garvin.
