Biography
Hailing from Long Beach, California, the rock outfit One Way Ride features Leldon on vocals and guitar, Chris Scott handling guitar duties, Timmy Lunsford on bass, and Brian Carhart contributing percussion along with vocals. Originating during the final years of the 1990s, the band drew from the riff-oriented style of acts like Stone Temple Pilots, Creed, and Matchbox Twenty to shape their musical approach. Producer Don Gehman eventually took notice of One Way Ride, leading him to bring them into the recording studio for their first full-length project, Straight Up!, which saw its release through MCA Records around the middle of 2000.
