Onelinedrawing

During a break from leading Far, the emo outfit based in Sacramento, California, singer and guitarist Jonah Sonz Matranga issued his first solo effort in the middle of 1997: a restricted-run cassette of home recordings called Onelinedrawing. After Far issued Water & Solutions in 1998 and entered an open-ended pause, Matranga resumed independent activity by delivering Sketchy e.p. #1—billed under Jonah's Onelinedrawing and issued by Crank!—during autumn 1999. Visitor, the project's first complete album, arrived three years afterward.
