Biography
Forming around 2005 in North London, the quartet Operahouse features Johnny Lloyd on vocals and guitar, Alexander Kaines handling guitar and vocals, Jimmy Cratchley on bass, and Ben Niblett at the drums. Their opening single, "Man Next Door," drew strong attention and secured broadcasts plus acclaim on BBC 6, Xfm, and Radio 2's Jonathan Ross. The follow-up, "Born a Boy," appeared on Marrakesh Records and earned further airplay along with glowing notices from NME. In 2008 the group issued its third single, "Diane," which likewise met with positive response.
