Biography
In September 2000 Atlantic put out Menace to Society, the first album from California alternative pop/rock trio OPM, whose fusion of Latin hip-hop rhythms and familiar rock & roll guitar lines yields an appealing pop style. Matthew, also known as Shakey Lo the Kreation Kid, formed the group in 1999 with John E. Necro and Casper (Geoff Turney). Their songs address personal teenage strifes, adult frustrations, and internal anguish most clearly on Menace to Society.
