Biography
Adama Ouedraogo established the ensemble in 1976 to serve as the resident act for the Club Voltaique du Disque imprint. In that role the musicians explored a broad range of indigenous traditions and African diaspora forms, maintaining the arrangement until the collective disbanded in 1979.
