Biography
The supergroup O.R.K. draws its progressive and art-rock foundation from Obake vocalist Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari, Porcupine Tree bassist Colin Edwin, Marta Sui Tubi guitarist Carmelo Pipitone, and King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelotto. Their music merges post-metal, math rock, prog rock, ambient soundscapes, acoustic psychedelia, and experimental electronics into a distinctive whole, resulting in the independent arrival of debut studio album Inflamed Rides in 2015. O.R.K. subsequently signed with the eclectic U.K. record label RareNoise to deliver sophomore release Soul of an Octopus in 2017.
