Ossiris

In 1998 bassist Mariano Aita and guitarist Maximiliano Porras established the Argentinean heavy metal band Ossiris. Drummer Santiago Pieraccini and singer/guitarist German Cuendias soon completed the lineup. Their first live appearance occurred in October 1999 at Buenos Aires’ Lord Byron English Institute, where they performed under the name El Sótano. Later the group renamed itself Ossiris after Egyptian mythology and began presenting original compositions such as “Solo Un Minuto Mas” and “No Regresaré.”
