Biography
Otti Albietz functions as vocalist, composer, multi-instrumentalist troubadour, and itinerant performer, his output stretching across contemporary folk, psychedelic pop, and indie rock. Nomadic tendencies appear embedded in his makeup from the start. Born in Malaga, Spain, he passed his formative period in motion, first alongside relatives and afterward on solitary routes through Europe and Morocco.
England became his destination in 2005. During the ensuing five years he fronted several ensembles, above all State of Miasma and subsequently Dusty Rosko, the latter supplying his initial recording, nextwave-heavysoul.
In 2011 Albietz launched a solo career with the album 1 on independent Big Village Records. He devoted the rest of that year to performances and travel throughout Western Europe, resuming the existence of a wanderer. Harvey Summers produced his next release, Bubbytone II, issued by BBE via Republic/Universal in spring 2013.
