Biography
Overthrow surfaced from the Long Island Hard Core scene during 1996 and began building a modest audience across the East Coast through support slots alongside V.O.D., 25 ta Life, and Madball, among additional acts, prior to issuing their debut demo titled "No Authority." Over the ensuing years, multiple singles appeared via assorted imprints, encompassing split EPs alongside One for One, No Submission, and Voice of Reason. Triple Crown Records put out the band's inaugural full-length React at the start of 1999, an effort that, consistent with earlier material, features gang chants, intense "chugga-chugga" guitar tones, and breakdown fills.
