Biography
The indie folk duo Oxford & Co., based in Sydney, unites two veterans of the Australian roots circuit, Samuel J. Stephenson of Fisherking and Thomas C. Potts of Dead Letter Chorus. Once their prior bands had ended, the singer/songwriters merged their abilities into a sound that fuses bluesy Americana and country with warm indie pop and folk. Their self-titled debut EP appeared in the summer of 2014. MGM distribution acquired the recording two years afterward, leading Oxford & Co. to launch their first American tour in support of its U.S. release.
