Biography
Nick Krgovich and Larissa Loyva launched the eclectic Canadian indie rock collective P:ano in 1999, drawing on their multi-instrumental skills to shape a distinctive lo-fi orchestral pop style. Justin Kellam and Julia Chirka came aboard two years later, after which the Vancouver-based outfit issued When It's Dark and It's Summer, then The Den in 2004, and Brigadoon along with Ghost Pirates Without Heads in 2005. Outside the band the members pursue an assortment of additional projects, among them To Bad Catholics, No Kids, Gigi, Burquitlam Plaza, Duplex!, and BORING.
