Biography
The Pajama Club took shape after a string of informal jam sessions at the Auckland, New Zealand home of married couple Neil and Sharon Finn. Having wrapped up a strong year highlighted by Intriguer—the sixth studio album from the acclaimed Kiwi pop outfit Crowded House—Neil handled drums throughout the gatherings while Sharon played bass. Once tracks were captured in their domestic studio, producer and songwriter Sean Donnelly and Alana Skyring were brought aboard, establishing the Pajama Club as a working quartet. In 2011 the group scheduled a concise U.S. summer tour, including support dates alongside Wilco, to precede the September release of its self-titled debut album.
