Biography
The Paranoids consist of three garage rock enthusiasts based in San Francisco, fusing 1960s rock with 1970s punk to produce an intoxicating blend of power pop. The band took shape in 2003 after the indie rock outfit the Librarians disbanded, prompting former members Damon Larson on vocals and Elliott Kiger on drums to enlist bassist Jonathan Marquez and round out the trio. Their debut EP, The Party's Over, appeared in March 2004.
