Parlor Walls

Hailing from Brooklyn, the post-punk trio Parlor Walls features a sound that veers unpredictably from intense, saxophone-fueled no wave to reflective, ethereal passages that maintain an underlying tension. Alyse Lamb handles guitar and vocals, Kate Mohanty plays saxophone, and Chris Mulligan contributes on drums and synthesizer. Prior to inking a deal with Northern Spy, the group put out a pair of EPs titled Parlor Walls and Cut, paving the way for their first album-length effort, Opposites, which arrived in 2017.
