Biography
Tetsuo Sakae from Japan, overseeing production, and Mayuchi, managing visuals, aligned with Cologne-based Kompakt after placing a track on the Pop Ambient 2004 compilation. A few months beyond the duo’s debut appearance, they issued the mini-album Calm Like a Millpond, underscoring their expanding engagement with ambient ideas and phrasing drawn from Cocteau Twins.
