Biography
Pat Kelley, a guitarist and composer in the smooth jazz idiom, launched his professional path playing in the house band for The Merv Griffin Show. Across his opening two decades in the industry, this in-demand studio musician lent his talents to roughly 2000 recording sessions. His initial solo effort arrived as Views of the Future in 1989, with Try to Remember appearing in 1991. Kelley dedicated much of the early 1990s to global tours supporting George Benson, yet sustained an active release schedule by issuing both I'll Stand Up and High Heels during 1992. The Road Home came next in 1994, and he returned four years afterward with Moonlight Dance.
