Biography
Patrick Nuo, a Swiss pop performer who also works as a model, rose to prominence across Switzerland and Germany through light alt-rock tracks that echoed the style of U.S. acts such as Train and Maroon 5. Born and raised in Lucerne, Switzerland, he once dreamed of a career as a professional tennis player before abandoning the sport at age 14. He later relocated to Hamburg, where he took on modeling assignments and provided occasional backup vocals during studio sessions. There he formed a connection with David Jost, who secured him a recording contract with Warner Bros. His first album, Welcome, reached stores in 2003, climbed to number 13 on the German charts, and featured the hit single “5 Days.” Two years afterward came his follow-up release, Superglue, which produced the Top Ten success “Beautiful.”
