Biography
Paul Reddick, a Canadian blues musician, first picked up the harmonica at age 12. He went on to establish the Sidemen in 1990, carving out a lasting presence in the Canadian blues community. Alongside the Sidemen he issued three full-length albums and spent most of the decade on the road. The 2001 release of the critically acclaimed Rattlebag marked a shift toward greater recognition, and from that point forward Reddick accumulated numerous awards and honors. The band secured three Maple Blues Awards in 2002 before devoting the following two years to expanding its reach across the United States. In 2004 Reddick joined collaborator Colin Linden for the release of the acclaimed Villanelle. He returned to prominence in 2008 with a nomination in the blues category at the Juno Awards.
