Biography
Residing in Ann Arbor, MI, Paul Vornhagen has drawn notice for his work as a tenor saxophonist grounded in classic jazz, owing to five albums issued under his leadership and performances presented across the country; he also performs on flute and provides vocals. Trumpeter Jimmy Cook, pianists Phil Kelly and Rick Roe, bassist Kurt Krahnke, drummer Pete Siers, and percussionist Norm Shobey comprise the supporting ensemble. Mercy! and Variations represent his latest albums.
