Biography
As a key figure among Brazilian soul composers, Paulo Zdan collaborated closely with Cassiano on successful tracks such as "A Lua e Eu," featured in the 1976 TV Globo soap opera O Grito, and "Coleção" from 1977, with both numbers performed by Cassiano. Caetano Veloso also covered his composition "Quero um Baby Seu." Beginning in the middle of the 1970s, Zdan wrote material alongside Cassiano before becoming a member of Brylho, and following the band's breakup in 1985 he pursued an individual path by releasing a single that featured his own pieces "Impulso e Desejo" and "Paranóia."
