Biography
Emerging from Brisbane, Australia, raw high-energy rockers Per Purpose assembled in 2010 around vocalist/guitarist Glan Schenau, drummer Matt Ford, and bassist Harry Byrne. Their style merged frantic post-punk with angular guitar rock, resulting in multiple 7" singles and cassette releases ahead of the 2011 EP Implicating More Than One. Mitchell Perkins joined as second guitarist in 2012, steering the band toward its debut full-length, Circle the Stains, issued in 2013.
