Biography
John Moen, longtime drummer for the Decemberists, Elliott Smith, and Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, launched the Portland, OR underground pop group Perhapst. Moen wrote, sang, and performed most of the instruments himself on the project’s self-titled debut, building on prior stints with the Dharma Bums and his role as frontman of the Maroons, whose final album, You're Gonna Ruin Everything, appeared in 2002. In Music We Trust issued Perhapst in 2008.
