Biography
Formed in 1996 by drummer César González together with singer/guitarists Gecko Turner and Markos Gayón, the Spanish experimental rock outfit Perroflauta promptly cut a demo titled Cuba #28 Exp. The multi-ethnic ensemble followed with a self-titled album in 1997 that fused rock, African rhythms, Jamaican reggae, and Brazilian bossa nova. Two years afterward the band supplied four pieces for the local stage work Aguas Tan Frias Que Hielan El Corazón. In 2000 Perroflauta tracked the album Africaniño.
