Biography
From the age of three, smooth jazz pianist Perry Joslin was already seated at the piano, yet most of his adulthood unfolded far from the music business. While majoring in business at college, he kept performing jazz and, in 1983, completed his studies at Ohio Wesleyan University with an added music minor. Even as his passion for composition and jazz improvisation persisted, professional ambitions steered him first into brokerage and ultimately to the role of Partner/Managing Director for the State of Florida at the tax, audit, and consulting firm KPMG LLP. Because he had never stopped playing, Joslin launched a dedicated music career in his early forties, issuing his debut album of original compositions, Perry Joslin Project, through Palmstone Productions in 2003.
