Pharaon de Winter

Pharaon de Winter, an indie pop endeavor conducted primarily in French, takes its name from a French painter active at the close of the 18th century and the start of the 19th. Fronted by Maxime Chamoux, who previously played in Toy Fight as well as (Please) Don't Blame Mexico, the project draws from both the Continental pop sounds of the 1970s and 1980s and the indie styles associated with Chamoux's earlier groups. Their first EP, titled Pointillism, appeared in the middle of 2015, with a self-titled synth pop album arriving later that same December.
