Philippe Bestion

Philippe Bestion, a French new age composer, debuted on record in 1998 with Tai Chi Vol. 1: Le Retour du Tigre, an album meant to prepare listeners for the martial art and deepen their participation in it. The same year brought Visualisation Créatrice Vol. 1: La Reconstruction, whose music instead sought to help people activate their cognitive faculties to the fullest extent. Drawing on natural sounds together with flute, percussion, and synthesizers, Bestion maintained an extensive creative partnership with fellow new age musician Karin Nobbs, among other projects contributing to her 2001 album Le Songe de Brocéliande.
