P.I.C.

Since forming in 1992, the funkadelic P.I. Crew—also known as P.I.C.—has drawn consistent enthusiasm from New York City crowds through quirky rhymes and horn sections. Horny Jeff (saxophone), MC J-Bomb, Rice (keyboards), Sulu (trumpet), DJ Un-G Wasmabati, and Rick Fingers (bass) make up the group, which fuses punk, ska, and Latin beats into hip-hop by means of its own innovative hardcore spool. Their debut album Hiphopunkfunkmamboska appeared in summer 2000 on Riding Mower Records.
