Biography
Edwards Hand arose from a British ensemble whose subsequent recognition stemmed in part from two albums shaped by George Martin’s production oversight. Picadilly Line, the group’s earlier incarnation, issued the little-known CBS long-player The Huge World of Emily Small in 1967, occupying the gentlest, most melodic corner of British pop-psych. The lineup also cut a pair of non-album singles, among them “Yellow Rainbow,” which Graham Nash—then still a member of the Hollies—composed.
