Biography
Evelyn Morris from Melbourne, Australia, records as Pikelet, a name drawn from one variety of pancake. Her solo material gently merges guitar, accordion, percussion, and a loop pedal, though she serves as drummer in the more forceful outfits Baseball and True Radical Miracle. A Pikelet demo CD reached listeners by mid-2006, after which came the self-released EP Tracksuit Pants. Casey Rice of Tortoise and the Sea and Cake produced the self-titled debut album that arrived in 2007.
